Hunza is probably Pakistan's most visited valley, by the tourists. It is a fairy tale land surrounded by beautiful rugged & snow capped mountains.  The water of Carrera Lake is pretty awesome and beautiful, an impressive mixture of bright green, turquoise, aquamarine and azure. The marble protrusions extend along a beachside and are around 300 meters in length.

 

The waters of the lake have slowly impacted upon the marble and, in their endless patience; have created something of huge, almost confusing beauty. The rock manifests different tones which are dependent upon the natural impurities within the marble.
